I agree with you about Andale Mono, but many people here love it. I use Courier New, and I don't know where you can download the other two mentioned. I have a whole bunch of Lucida family fonts, including Calligraphy Handwriting, Typewriter and others as well as Sans and Console. I know they came along with some package, and I think it is not WordPerfect. The copyrights are to Bigelow and Holmes. My best guess is that they came with Microsoft Office, but I don't have the cd's handy to check on WordPerfect or MS. I do think those are the only two places where lots of fonts have found their way on to my various machines. It is my feeling most of the fonts which come from WordPerfect are going to have Bitstream or Corel copyrights. -- Dwight A. Hi Allie, On Wednesday, April 18, 2001 20:15:25 [ -0500 GMT], you wrote the following in regards to 'Different fonts for different use': Allie I use Lucida Sans Typ [...] Well the situation you refer to certainly explains my situation: I (also) use Lucinda Sans Typ haven't corresponded w anyone I know of who uses the Cyrillic (K0I8-R) fonts. Allie Three fonts that I realize have excellent character support are Courier Allie New, Andale Mono and Lucida Console. You will not see what I'm talking Allie about if you use one of those fonts normally. Isn't Andale Mono one of those *extra* fonts? I've forgotten where to download these fonts from. Maybe you can refer me to that source while were are discussing fonts. Thanks, Allie. -- Jan Rifkinson Ridgefield, CT USA Using TB! v1.51/WinMe ICQ 41116329 -- __ Archives : http://tbudl.thebat.dutaint.com Moderators : mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] TBTech List: mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Unsubscribe: mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] You are subscribed as : archive@jab.org
