Yes and no. By default, I agree totally with you, TB doesn't recognize
it as a sig delimiter - --, but I, like you also have a PGP quote
cleaner, so it will recognize the - --. Many of us do.

My point to your original post was that you didn't have -- which
PGP didn't convert to - --, so nothing got snipped out of your
message when I replied. Your original message had:

`--

I'll look, I think someone created a template to recognize -BEGIN
PGP SIGNATURE- as well.

Thanks.

Yes, it's in the Library as a Quote extraction macro:

I would like messages in certain folders (Trash, for example) sorted
in the way they are in the database - in order I delete them, from
oldest to newest. I can't find the way to do that.

I usually delete the message, and want to read it again immidiately
after since I remembered something - but I can't simply go to Trash
and view the message, I must search for it, since it gets lost in the
last 100 mails I received since then.

View previously read message doesn't work when message is moved
between folders.

AFAIK, there really isn't a way to do this. You can sort by date
created, received etc., but no way for it to remember the order in
which you deleted them.

Sort them on 'Parked' or 'Flag' if you don't use the latter, but do
have parked messages in your Trash. If you sort them on such a
feature (that you don't use) all messages have the same sorting
preference and are sorted the way they appear in the messagebase.

Sorting messages

2002-02-08 Thread Claude Renaud

Hi everybody,

I would like to ask you a question from which I have not find an
   answer yet.

I know how to sort (or view threads by) sender and I also
know how to sort messages by received or creation time but
the thing I would like to do is the following : arrange
messages alphabetically andsort this result chronogically as
we can do with ms outlook express or outlook 2000/2002.

And I would like to tell you about a strange thing about time sorting
: I don't understand why when we sort messages by received time or
creation time, messages are sorted descending by default whereas the
descending order option is not checked; and so we have to peculiarly
check this option to have them sorted correctly.

In the message list, click on the Received header. Your messages will
be sorted by received date. click again, and they will be ordered in
reverse received order.

Clicking on any header sorts the messages by the header; clicking
again reverses the sort order.
