What does red envelope icon mean?

2004-08-31 Thread Rick Friedman
Simple (hopefully) question...

In the message list pane, what does a red (or pink) envelope icon
indicate?? It's the same icon as the normal unread and rewad envelope
icons, only red.

As I'm a tad challenged in the colorviewing department, I'm not sure,
but I guess it's an urgent message.
X-Priority=1 or =high, something like that. Should be visible in the
headers.

ZAÖ It's high priority mail like this one.

Thanks! I asked because I saw it in my junk mail folder. Spammers are
sending junk mail with high priority? That's just great!

Yes, they're also using low priority. Everything uncommon attracts
attention.

Well, I guess you're talking about POP mail, as message priority doesn't
work for IMAP mail! :-(

Although, if you want to air your concerns about the lack of support for
this basic feature in IMAP, add you comments here on bugtracker;
