Unfortunately I have no idea.

Maybe closing down The Bat!, renaming the_bat.chm and going to
Add/Remove programs, selecting The Bat!, then change, then repair
might sort it. But maybe not. And if it isn't bothering you, do you
want to bother?

Do you get an error message or does nothing happen?

Is The_bat.chm still in the right place? (For my TB! version, that's 
the same foder as me thebat.exe, in %programfiles%\The Bat!.)

I cannot open the Help Topics file from within The Bat!I CAN open the file 
by clicking on the file,  The_bat.chm, in Windows Explorer.  But, why am I not 
able to do so anymore from within the The Bat?(I used to be able to do it, 
but probably haven't tried for quite some time.)
