That would make me an extremely happy camper!

THanks so much for this info -- I assumed that the Inbox had to be part of
the account default view. Glad that's not the case and it certainly
fixes everything!

Problem is that I don't want to change the view of my Inbox folder
i.e. I don't want my inbox threaded like I do my list folders. Can I
have a default account view and somehow exempt the inbox folder from
it?

Can I copy views?

2003-07-26 Thread Steve M. Sawczyn
Hi list,

I have my TBUDL folder customized exactly the way I want it meaning
the order of columns, column width, etc... Can I somehow copy this
view to
my other mailing list folders? I have folders set up to not use the
parent view as I don't want my inbox customized in the same way. Any
help greatly appreciated -- I couldn't find anything about this in the help
file, so appologize if I've missed it somewhere.

You can set a folder to use account's default column settings. If you
change column layout/sorting of any folder with such setting, default
column settings will change accordingly...

It is also planned to make it possible to define various views (based
on combination of the settings from the View menu) and switch between
them quickly...
