Hi Thomas, Maybe it's a cached copy? If you can't ping the site the server is down. Not necesarily... if you can't ping a host it also could be that the ping is firewalled that is, that pinging a host is prohibitted. With traceroute www.ritlabs.com (under Unix for instance) you can see where the path stops... Since yesterday I, too, cannot reach Ritlabs from Hamburg, Germany on a very good ISDN line with different CbC ISP's. Last time I couldn't reach Ritlabs (before yesterday) they had a new version on the server the next day. :-) Concerning IE and NS: Try to empty the cache before reloading (that once worked for me in IE 5.x; seems it uses its cache for refreshes). Hello Mark and all TBUDLers, Many of Chicago based ISPs are now down - I believe it is due to the fiber optic cable cut-off. I would have thought so, but I hit Relaod and crtl-Reload in both IE and NS. How else can you force the browser to not load a cached copy?
