When you're in the edit message window, select 'View' from the menu
and check Store window position. Odd that you should need this.
The windows normally come up plenty wide enough at 1024x768. :-/

How to Send w/o Confirmation Dialog Box

2003-08-14 Thread Joe Claborn
I'm new to TB - I've been an Eudora user for years - then it started
crashing - So I'm looking for a stable replacement. I like what I've
seen so far. I have a couple of questions

1. Is there a way to send a message without getting the confirmation
dialog box? (The confirmation dialog box being that dialog box that
makes sure you want to send the email.) It may seem like a small thing
- but it's the small things that add up. :)

2. Is there a way to make the 'Edit Mail Message' window come up at a
size that does not require horizontal scrolling? Again - it's a
nuisance to have to resize the window to keep from scrolling.

Thanks for helping a newbie,

You mean you want to re-size that window? Just drag the edges to the
size location where you want them.

If you mean that your text is not wrapping, which makes it go further
than the right edge of the window, then on the Options menu, you'll find
Editor Preferences. On that, select the checkbox for Auto-wrap.
Further down, you can find a Wrap text at... option, where you can
choose how long you want your lines to be :-)

It is a setting at account level.

Account/Properties/Options/Message Editor Settings/Confirm immediate
sending

Once you resize or move the editor window that is the size and position
it should come up the next time you use it. It does here:

Wellcome to the club. :-)

Check out Account / Properties / Mail Mangement / Options / Confirm
Immediate Sending. It sounds like you want to take the tickmark off.

 2. Is there a way to make the 'Edit Mail Message' window come up at a
size that does not require horizontal scrolling?

Hm. Over here, the editor opens in full screen. Is that not what you
desire?

I'll answer one of my own questions. Go to Account-Properties-Options.
Un-select the 'Confirm Immediate Sending' Checkbox.
