But as I stated in the previous email, I was able to get it back. Hopefully I won't be upgrading again anytime soon. Re: Moved to new computer
Hello Tbudl, Cancel previous request for AB help. I was eventually able to figure it out. However, I am curious as to why backing up TB on the old computer and then restoring from that backup to the new computer failed to move the AB. Any ideas? TIA. -- Best Regards, Jack LaRosa :usflag: Central Alabama Using The Bat! ver: 5.2. Moved to new computer
Hi Bats, As the subject line says, I've built a new computer and am in the process of transferring everything over from the old computer. I did a backup of TB! on the old computer to a USB drive. On the new machine I ran my most recent copy of the TB! .msi file and successfully entered my registration key. Next I did a restore from the USB drive, apparently successfully but I find that my AB didn't get restored. And because of this (I presume) my NEW MESSAGE drop-down no longer contains any my favorites. Needless to say the AB contains only that which comes with TB! originally. I should note that all my folders appear to be present with all their associated emails. What did I miss? -- Best regards, Jack Using TB! v5.2 with K9 v1.28 anti spam Windows 7 pro 6.1 Build 7601 - Service Pack 1 Current version is 5.2.2 | 'Using TBUDL' information: http://www.silverstones.com/thebat/TBUDLInfo.html
