Some people don't like that. But when I open Outlook Express, and

To have more than one default option of where to return in your
message list is something I don't think any mail client has. It's
like, to have a default option, it is always the behaviour it does
anyway when you don't tell it anything particular. Now, The Bat! is an
intelligent animal, and it remembers things. So when it helps users in
this way, to return where you were last, many users are happy about that.

I think that to return to the top, you can type ALT Home.

KS failing that, open at the last selected message instead of the last
KS read message?

I never noticed the distinction. And now I tried moving to a message
without setting it as Read. The Bat upon later returning to this
folder returned to this exact spot where it left.

Opening Folder on top?

2003-12-18 Thread Ken Stuart
Hello,

When I open a Folder, it always open at the point where I last READ
a message in that folder. If I select - but don't open - a message,
and then go to a different folder, when I return to the original
folder, it is back at the last read message, not the last selected
message.

Is there any way to have the folder always open at the top or
failing that, open at the last selected message instead of the last
read message?
