Does the Keep messages on server for [N ] days feature actually work? I
have attempted to use this feature in other programs where it did not
work.
I thought about using these settings in TheBat!:

(*) Leave messages on server
[v] Keep messages on

Yes, it works, but add an extra day to the amount you actually
Yes, the feature works. But it wouldn't get you anywhere with the
configuration you outlined.
I believe that if you check both the 'keep on server for x days' and
also the 'delete when deleted from trash,' then TB! takes the earlier
of the two, i.e., it looks at them as disjunctive, as 'or.'
