Everything is located in the mail directory, It depends a bit on your setup where that is located. The mail directory has a directory for every account, with the same name as the matching account. Every account directory has subdirectories for all folders. When you used OTFE then the folder subdirectories have encrypted names, otherwise they have the same name as the matching folder. Apart from the account directories the mail directory also contains subdirectories for the common folders. So far the directory structure. Account data are stored in the account.cfn file. (.efn for OTFE) Each account has its own file. Folders (and their templates) are stored in account.flb (.efb for OTFE) Each account has its own file, common folders are stored in the file in the mail directory. Quick templates are stored in account.qtn (.etn for OTFE) each account has its own file. Filters are stored in account.srb (.erb for OTFE) each account has its own file, common filters are stored in the mail directory. The address book is stored in .abd files (.ebd for OTFE), default location is the mail directory. The message base is folder based. The messages are stored in a messages.tbb file in each folder, accompanied by an index file with the name messages.tbi. (Respectively .ebb and .ebi for OTFE) When you've used OTFE you can't read them with another install, unless you're using OTFE again and also the same password. When you've used a plain message base and your new install uses OTFE then you can't use the old files. -- Groetjes, Roelof WinErr: 001 Windows loaded. System in danger. However, I can't find the file that contains the default templates for new, reply, forward, etc. I've installed all my quick templates but can't find the default templates. account.flb doesn't seem to contain that information I'm doing this selectively because I suffered a massive screw up last week and I'm trying not to reintroduce the cause. ;) So far so good. -- Best regards Barry barryh'at'kentra'dot'co'dot'uk Using TheBat! version 3.65.03 and BayesIt 0.8.4 Current version is 3.65.03 | 'Using TBUDL' information: http://www.silverstones.com/thebat/TBUDLInfo.html
