TS But have you tried the new lng file that can be fond at:
TS http://www.ritlabs.com/ftp/pub/the_bat/beta/lng.rar

TS There also was the Idea to release a Tool for translating menus
TS ...but I never heard anything about this.

SP In the end of this month Max is going to release stand-alone LNG
SP compiler, so, everybody will be able to compile his language
SP himself, to see how it works and to debug it.

Max wrote on 7/7/2000 responding to my inquiry:

Max I'm in St.Petersburg, Russia now, the compiler will be ready as
Max soon as I get back home.

Bugs in translations

2000-06-15 Thread Marco Rossini

Hello TBUDL,

I have found some mistakes/missing texts when using languages
different from English. I know that the file THEBAT.LNG has all
texts used in menus/boxes, but I cannot edit it with a normal text
editor, because when I save the file after the changes, the editor
converts it into a text file, so it works no longer with TB. Which
  editor should I use?
