Hello Darrin, A reminder of what Darrin Rich on TBUDL typed on: 17 February 2005 at 02:11:07 GMT +0100 DR Not to knock down TB, but have you tried the email software by Time DR Choas? Its called ExpressPlus and suppose to work perfectly with the DR pim software. I bought the whole TC bundle including Express Plus, it's a complete load of rubbish and is just about as basic and non functional as email software gets. The version I have is 1.0.6.9 so if later versions are any better I don't know. -- Best regards,Tony. _ Message composed on 18/02/2005 at 13:07 UTC 2004 - AWB Using The Bat! v3.0.2.10 on :gentoo: www.gentoo.org PGP Key http://www.theboomclan.com/pgp.txt smime.p7s Description: S/MIME Cryptographic Signature Current version is 3.0.1.33 | 'Using TBUDL' information: http://www.silverstones.com/thebat/TBUDLInfo.html
Using the bat! and the Time and Chaos software ...
Hi, If there are people who both use The Bat! and the Time and Chaos PIM software, I just have a little question to ask. As their adress book format are different, is there nevertheless a way to synchronize them ? Do you think a import facility from the bat! of Time and Chaos address book could be useful ? For me, yes, I use this program each day !!! and it would be very practical to have only one address book, so importing the tc one in the bat! or sharing it, as the courier e-mail software does, would be great !!! -- Greetings, Claude Renaud Current version is 3.0.1.33 | 'Using TBUDL' information: http://www.silverstones.com/thebat/TBUDLInfo.html

I'm a TC user, but I'm more concerned with my palm syncing with it and I'm able to do that. I'm a TB!- and TC-user ànd I sync with my Pocket PC. I would love to have a tool to synchronise my TC and TB! address boooks. Let's take the case of a To Do item, that ends up with writing an E-mail to a client. As it is now I have to switch to TB!, select the client in the AB, and write the message. If, however, the E-mail address of this client is in the TC AB too, I only have to click on the (linked) E-mail address and TB! will open a new message. For this to work, I have to enter the address in TC too, thus doing this work twice over and over again. I guess that's not exactly the smartest way to make use of a computer's abilities. So, once more, yes, please if such a tool would exist, I shouldn't have to think about setting up a solution through TC's import tool, combined with PowerPro... :-) -- Best Wishes, Mark using The Bat! 3.0.2.10 Current version is 3.0.1.33 | 'Using TBUDL' information: http://www.silverstones.com/thebat/TBUDLInfo.html

Me. I have a hotkey for creating a new message. I then start typing the name, autocomplete enters the address. I see what you're saying though. :) I don't know if it will make sense holding our breaths for a solution as elegant as syncing. Outlook and Palm devices enjoy that sort of thing because of their tremendous userbase which makes the creation of such plugins a worthwhile effort for the TC developers. I doubt they'd consider TB! a worthwhile effort at this time, though one never knows. -- ... . | IMAP Client: The Bat! v3.0.2.5 _.||* _ |\/| |IMAP Server: MDaemon Pro (_]|||(/,| | | OS: Windows XP Pro (Service Pack 2) .
