PB Account - Properties - Templates - New message

PB At foot of window you can tick:

PB Receipt Request

PB Reading Confirmation

PB Note also that as an individual user you can set it to ignore such
PB requests from senders:

PB Account - Properties - Templates - Reading Confirmation - Ignore

Thanks to both Paul and Jack for their responses.  I tested it and it
worked perfectly.   I am sure there is a lot of functionality that
The Bat has that users like me are not aware of.

BTW, apologies to the list for having just sent a thank-you note that
did not follow list protocol because it reflected top posting. That
message was not intended for the list. Unfortunately, because I belong
to a number of list servs, many of which send replies directly to the
sender rather than to the list, when I hit reply and saw the sender's
name come up in the to field, I failed to look further and note
that the actual address was to the list.

Does The Bat have a functionality that allows a sender of a message
to receive automatic confirmation that the recipient has opened the
message?

I will occasionally receive in Outlook e-mail from colleagues, that,
when opened, also opens up a pop-up dialogue box that asks me if I
want to send confirmation of the receipt of the message to the

Account - Properties - Templates - New message

At foot of window you can tick:

Receipt Request

Reading Confirmation

Note also that as an individual user you can set it to ignore such

At the bottom of the editor screen you should see 3 icons to the right of your
language selection. The one on the far right is the request reading confirmation
icon.
