Yup, worked like a charm. Strange, because that was what i did first
and it wouldn't work. After a restart of my machine it worked...

No unknown trick, just patience. :-) Hover the mouse over the left end
of the toolbar where you see the vertical dotted line (very faint -
same color as bar) until it turns into a cross with arrows, then drag
it to wherever you need it.

docking main menu problem

 Somehow i managed to undock the "main menu" tool bar and now can't
 seem to dock it back in it's place (above accounts, messages etc
 pane). Using the full-width preview pane as window split mode. Is
 there some unknown trick to that i'm not aware off?
