Attachments not deleted with messages

18 November 2013 I have thought my Attachments directory was huge, and I spotted several .jpg files in it that should have been deleted when I deleted the parent messages. I just did a test and sent a mail to myself with an image attached. I deleted the message and then emptied the Trash

When I compose an e-mail note and close it without sending it, I am prompted to save it or not. If I save it, it goes to the Outbox. If I choose not to save it, it is gone. Fair enough. However if I open a message in the Outbox to continue editing, and choose not to save it, the original message

Hello Leonard, However if I open a message in the Outbox to continue editing, and choose not to save it, the original message in the Outbox disappears also. Not the behavior here. If I don't save the edited version the original stays in the Outbox. I have just tested it. -- Best regards,

Hello Leonard, Why is does the original disappear also? It ought to go to Trash. No, it ought to stay in Outbox as a Parked (Draft) message, like it does in my case. I've been doing further testing and even if I unpark the message in Outbox before opening it for edit, if I don't save the
