Two things: 1. Screenshots are (apparently) stripped from the messages posted to this list. 2. Somewhat desirable behaviour can be achieved by disabling tabs altogether. Then, clearing "Quick Search" returns view to the message list and temporarily created tabs survive only until TheBat is restarted.
