Actually, I will reply to it again and change the To address to your's so that you will get it and verify yourself. Yes, you can define Reply template for that folder to be HTML. It's easy with an address template. Add the lists address to your addressbook and add the macro %SETEDITOR="4" to your normal reply template. I have received such message too. In my case, they were all malformed.
