Looks like it is not free text, but certain forms that can be filled
in and coded into QR.

Never mind, I am not looking for anything else than what I have in
TB!.

Try https://zxing.appspot.com/generator/, a more robust QR code generator.

I've never used it before, but just tested it (using TB! Version
7.3.12 (64-bit)), and it appears to work well, and is better than the
various online generators that keep your data and show you ads as the
cost of generating a code.

It is not something I am going to use very often, but as you say, it
is useful.

I use it to generate QR codes. I don't have any other QR code
generator and am not sure what this has to do with email, but it is
useful for me.

I get Access violation at address 005173AB in module 'thebat64.exe'.
Read of address

I get this consistently by pasting the QR Code into a message in the HTML
editor and either pressing "send" or just waiting 15-30 seconds.

Well I was going to be clever and compose this reply then generate a QR code of
the text, which I did. The following is what I received:

Your mail to 'TBUDL' with the subject

Re: The Bat!'s QR Code generator?

Is being held until the list moderator can review it for approval.

The reason it is being held:

Message body is too big: 216308 bytes with a limit of 25 KB

Either the message will get posted to the list, or you will receive
notification of the moderator's decision. If you would like to cancel

So, whether or not you receive it remains to be seen. I had never used this
feature before and was curious as to whether or not I would get an access
violation as you did. I did not.
