Re: switch off the error sound on no messages received?
Hi Hinnerk, On 13 Dec 2001 at 10:43:58 [GMT +0100], you wrote: HV is there any way to switch off the error sound on no messages HV received? There is no error sound when you receive no messages. When your mailbox is empty, you will not hear anything from TB! If you do get an error beep, there must be an error somewhere. Have a look at the logs (CTRL-SHIFT-A) to find out what it is. HV I let the program check my POP3 every 2 minutes and everytime I get HV this sound. Perhaps your ISP doesn't like you checking for mail so often. I know for sure that GMX blocks POP access after some checks within a short period of time. In this case, you have to wait 5 minutes, then you can access your mailbox again. -- Regards, Lars The Bat! 1.54 Beta/15 on Windows NT 5.1 Build 2600 |Lars Geiger | mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]| -- Archives : http://tbudl.thebat.dutaint.com Moderators : mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] TBTech List: mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Unsubscribe: mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Latest Vers: 1.53d FAQ: http://faq.thebat.dutaint.com
