There is no error sound when you receive no messages. When your mailbox
is empty, you will not hear anything from TB!

If you do get an error beep, there must be an error somewhere. Have a
look at the logs (CTRL-SHIFT-A) to find out what it is.

HV I let the program check my POP3 every 2 minutes and everytime I get
HV this sound.

Perhaps your ISP doesn't like you checking for mail so often. I know for
sure that GMX blocks POP access after some checks within a short period
of time. In this case, you have to wait 5 minutes, then you can access
your mailbox again.
