Tonight I tried your suggestion. I deleted the account.qtn from my main
mail account and all my quick templates were there except the ghost template
disappeared by magic.. Strange but it works. Thanks for the suggestion.

Cheers!

I do not have a common folder in my mail directory. I remember having one
but deleted it long time ago.
When I do New Message ->Utilities -> Insert -> Insert Quick Template; I find
the QT there but cannot find it in Menu ->Tools->Quick Templates. My only
conclusion is that it is the ghost of the deceased common folder which I
deleted long ago! I gave up but thanks really to everyone who helped me.

I think the missing "Common Templates" is the culprit. For some reason, it
has gone missing but it seems it has some valid entries inside which keep
working. By the way, I tried scrolling, resizing the windows every possible
ways, but to no avail. Anyway, I'll live with it...for now.

 Really it's not there! I'm not blind. That's why it's a ghost!

I think it is a common QT and not an account QT shared; but I don't find
any Common QT in my Quick Templates. Maybe it is deleted or is bug them then.

It is common because I tested the handle with different accounts and it works.
However, in my list of Quick Templates, I don't have a common templates. I have
only templates listed under different account. Is there a common template in
your quick template list?

It exists because it is working and doing its job but I can't find it!

Ok, I have "%Qinclude='salutation'" in my reply template and it is working
properly. It is generating the salutation as expected. This morning I wanted to
modify the salutation, but could not find the handle anywhere.

Yes, in my case I use the %Qinclude macro in the reply template.
