Hi, It's been a while since I've had any particular issues with my Bat, but every now and again, I see this one, and it can be annoying...
In general, I have my "folder view/message list" arranged so that recent messages are at the "bottom" of the list (scrolled down). I do something similar with "email listserver" messages I want threaded (recent threads show up at the bottom of the list of messages). Now and then, a new message will come in, and I won't see it anywhere near the bottom of the message list. When this happens, I know to scroll all the way up to the top of the message list, and there I'll find it -- with an apparent "Created" date of 1/1/1970, and a "Created" time of 3:50 AM (these all show the same date/time--in the message list view--regardless of when they arrive, or were actually created). Orphaned and far-removed from all other messages of its actual recent vintage. Looking at the headers, I see no reference to "1/1/1970, 3:50 AM". In fact, I see only references to the proper date. Lately, this has been happening to the "digest" messages from a particular email listserver to which I've been subscribed for years (I'm subscribed to the list "normally" -- not just to receive the "digest" versions). Here's a header section example from one of these messages (just received several minutes ago): ===================================================================== Received: from nm42-vm8.bullet.mail.gq1.yahoo.com ([67.195.87.159]:51973) by cloud9.emwd.com with esmtps (TLSv1:ECDHE-RSA-AES128-SHA:128) (Exim 4.87) (envelope-from <shawnka...@yahoo.com>) id 1bd1bK-0004SG-9e for paddlew...@list.paddlewise.net; Thu, 25 Aug 2016 16:50:14 -0400 DKIM-Signature: v=1; a=rsa-sha256; c=relaxed/relaxed; d=yahoo.com; s=s2048; t=1472158173; bh=L/Qlur2ymBZGAbZUdalvkI/q8AhBk6TP7XeIX+nzYoA=; h=Date:From:Reply-To:To:In-Reply-To:References:Subject:From:Subject; b=aH+GgXyH20lgnmTyoHTSFyx5Za4BOedBwqPJNMoeQz+6x/g5GnJnkoru+hCt0KAAbwGIwo+M96D3rokvftP5Jz0B534ST23uPyy/RjT5bfN+rE7uamvKkBuJhc405L0F3epeXX1Uby4Abus1LKVomC8LlPiRbZxBj4K6V76qet0BlUYJGVcRlEA1ayos9mn5yURAbo1jFwDTBw8DCO3I1+q5Nb3BGRnkaZlKBg/lw8eBnzcWZGvjVmgr2YjI1NdNZsvJOHmz9BjzdYRdFm+U+eKXr+9yM9ud5U85kpXngu4wT/j5VWgyYR+Hij+W5cI7WWur/vmrIrmXluLTQZpkQw== Received: from [127.0.0.1] by nm42.bullet.mail.gq1.yahoo.com with NNFMP; 25 Aug 2016 20:49:33 -0000 Received: from [216.39.60.180] by nm42.bullet.mail.gq1.yahoo.com with NNFMP; 25 Aug 2016 20:46:25 -0000 Received: from [66.196.81.171] by tm16.bullet.mail.gq1.yahoo.com with NNFMP; 25 Aug 2016 20:46:25 -0000 Received: from [98.139.212.219] by tm17.bullet.mail.bf1.yahoo.com with NNFMP; 25 Aug 2016 20:46:25 -0000 Received: from [127.0.0.1] by omp1028.mail.bf1.yahoo.com with NNFMP; 25 Aug 2016 20:46:25 -0000 X-Yahoo-Newman-Property: ymail-4 X-Yahoo-Newman-Id: 289548.55973...@omp1028.mail.bf1.yahoo.com X-YMail-OSG: qJKdaWwVM1nI9PQ6vUZR6d04VI2m95YlloJFbzaYyrEFXFpvVJ68V8y6HIlKLq9 ggznAW3bIS6yLwAonk7OR1YcIFo54xGW914EHh3f.ISAD_pseH5gyAClinWwvqVlZIwZhQL3Bj_F OybuSRmu0jsPuV2w.1t3fhHqfoKNVLZyQVkKUO6m1L_ktnU5RB1wbmFbSxcYx3NtQsIe3wpaS3NU hXtKALJmGCNcBvfcPJzEtKwNRLSzbYjZUs6VeBCo9DbRx6Jk.yVdPWEHpj497LEUmAoO7_11Y3zW CYJ1zx7k5B5RoLbXgYz8QaRGymYE86zojSzMghNHyBeJlEAYjwV016N4fxl8VrTL7wJ3sSt.6Dxr NVktCPSrfUNBpTERvJEVqEL4sAuXMPdYsDxhPY9Sj_zfrVtednCLYgklXktNZrTk7MRZPcmHujrc id8ADUqWSuhZv6voOUxazwedGQ8R2CtBMtkIUX7gJ138QAA_TzAeaAv6BjJ37NRJzeBfl.GNRD46 8O3pT4CPIb3GIcGspJgIPZMz5zMo9NcLq Received: from jws106158.mail.bf1.yahoo.com by sendmailws119.mail.bf1.yahoo.com; Thu, 25 Aug 2016 20:46:24 +0000; 1472157984.837 Date: Thu, 25 Aug 2016 20:46:24 +0000 (UTC) ===================================================================== Any ideas as to why or how this is happening?
