Sun's portfolio is quite impressive, but more than that, they honestly have a great hacking team worldwide. If the first can be addressed while dumping stuff into the opensource (wild) pipe, the later will be very problematic to solve, since they're human, they were working under a great culture, they're brilliant but they had terrible project managers for all these years, hence not completing some great projects.
