All,
Hope someone can assist with this. I am having trouble loading tclBlend. I
am on Win NT 2000 using Tcl 8.3.1 and JDK 1.2.2. When I do a 'package
require java' her is what I get. I think I have all of the debug setting
turned on:

Hi,
I get the ambigous method signature error when I try
to initialise an ORB thru TclBlend. Effectively
I am doing the following in Java
Porperties props = new Properties();
props.put( "org.omg.CORBA.ORBClass", "com.sybase.CORBA.ORB")
_orb = ORB.
ound the convertTclObject() method in JavaInvoke which looks like what I

I am looking into using Jacl to call Tcl scripts. I can call interp.eval()
and then interp.getResult() to get the return value, but the return value is
a TclObject. What I would like to do is convert this TclObject result into
it's appropriate java object, so that if it's a reflected object, I
All,
I have 2 questions.
1. I am trying to familiarize myself with Jacl so that I
may use it for regression testing. It looks very promising
and at Mo's suggestion, I downloaded the Jacl source so that
I could use the tests in that package as a template. However,
when I source any of the tes

Is there any way to have TCLBlend not use the Just In Time compiler with
Java 1.1. I know of the tclblend_init variable and -Djava.compiler=NONE
option with 1.2, but this doesn't work for 1.1.
Thanks,

If someone (Mo?) wants to write up a short summary of the caveats/procedures
for working with the binary releases, I will happily put that up on the
www.scriptics.com site. Just do some some HTML, and I'll stick that into
a template for the Scriptics site.
