Oops, looks like this email spilled over onto the tcljava list. At any rate, I was not trying to rip on dev.scriptics.com, I was just saying that creating another place for people to post tcljava questions does not seem like a good idea to me. Folks can post to comp.lang.tcl without "much work". They do have to do a little more to sign up for the tcljava mailing list, but that is a good thing because random flamers might tend to stay off the list. We have this same problem with the bug database, it was only visible to people inside Scriptics so reports went in but I never saw them. I just do not feel like looking at a bunch of tcljava emails, then looking at comp.lang.tcl, then going to a Scriptics bug database, and then looking at a BBoards. It was hard enough to just get people to use the mailing list. As for the HTML stuff, yes we need that. It takes far to long to get a "Scriptics Blessed" release because of the web site and FTP site updates. The Web Pages really should be in the tcljava CVS modules. Mo Dejong Red Hat Inc.
