Having admin'd large clusters of RHEL on both Xen and KVM, I would recommend KVM: - better performance over Xen - KSM memory optimization (doesn't work with Xen) - nested KVM is just cool (run a hypervisor inside a hypervisor) - A TON of work has been done with KVM/SELinux - KVM's SPICE support.
