Great, thanks for the update! Does this mean that we are good? And the
status is approved? Any items outstanding on our end?

Appreciate your time.

Re: Ubuntu Budgie - LTS Application

2018-02-12 Thread Dustin Krysak
Hello everyone, I just wanted to follow up with this to ensure there is
nothing outstanding on the Ubuntu Budgie side of the application. After the
TB IRC meeting, it seemed like there were no outstanding issues. What would
the next steps be to complete this? Any action items on our side? After
re-reading the article located at https://wiki.ubuntu.com/RecognizedFlavors -
I believe not.

Thank you in advance for your time.

Good day everyone. I've added myself to the next technical board meeting
agenda, however, I just wanted to let you know that I had added the
Launchpad URLs as Steve requested.

Thank you in advance.

Absolutely, I'll get on that, and ping back on this thread when it is ready.

We also appreciate the +1. Have a good weekend.

Can you please update this wiki page to include links to launchpad IDs for
each individual and team mentioned in the support plan, to avoid ambiguity?

One thing that we have discussed in previous Technical Board meetings, but
have not yet reflected on this page, is that we would like to be able to
see the security history of a flavor in Ubuntu. So long as we don't have
automatic reporting about this I don't intend to hold Ubuntu Budgie to a
different standard than we hold other flavors; but can you perhaps comment
on whether there have been any security issues for the packages specific to
Ubuntu Budgie, in the time that it has been supported, and whether that
experience has been a smooth one?

I will not be able to attend the TB meeting on the 16th, but I'm happy to
give my +1 for this as it stands, unless other members of the TB have
concerns.
