DB: MS or Sybase (TSQL) Desired Skills Test Driven Development experience, ASP.NET MVC framework Silverlight - group is toying with making a move to technology Financial experience Experience with billing systems and/or contract management Project Summary and Position Overview Architecture, design, and development of front-end and middle tier components and infrastructure for permissions and billing system. Right now there is not great accounting of who product is being used and what is being taken (pulled from the system). Component development occurs in the Microsoft platform using c#, .Net 3.5, ASP.NET, Sybase T-Sql and Solaris using Python and C++ Will be working with a variety of frameworks, patterns, and engineering practices including Dependency Injection, Unit Testing, and Mocking, and many OO patterns. Must have good communication skills, a passion for the technology, and willingness to mentor others. The assignment is approved for two years. Hours are generally 40 per week but may be a need for O/T occasionally. Day-to-Day Responsibilities Development tasks related to the permissioning and usage billing system which include programming, reviewing and code documentation practices. Additional Information The work is primarily new development work as the system is new.
