Please send an updated profile along with contact details including the rates ASAP Skill: Scanner Technician / Desktop Support Loc: Austin, TX Duration: 3 plus months (may go for contract to hire) The task ahead is to get ready hand held scanners (with Windows Mobile 6) installed with the necessary software, configured and networked into the enterprise. The skill set required is as follows: 1. Good working knowledge of software 2. Familiarity with devices like pocket PC 3. Comfortable working at the low level ROM, drivers, device configuration 4. Experience with Windows XP, SQL Server etc. (we are a MS shop) 5. Ability to use small tools to install SIM's, swap out batteries etc. 6. Work with vendors on maintenance items/tasks 7.
