We are pleased to announce the release of TeraScript Server 7.1.1

TeraScript 7.1 is the final release of the 7.x product line and, for the
server, the final release based on the codebase that can be traced back to
the 90s. This release will serve several purposes over the next few years.
First, we will be supporting 7.1 for two years, until 12/31/2017. This
support will cover functionality which doesn't match documentation,
operating system compatibility and security issues. We will not be adding
new features to 7.1 during this period unless there is a clear need for the
feature. Our goal is to provide a solid and secure platform for you to use
with confidence while you migrate to our newer platform. This version will
also act as our benchmark for legacy compatibility going forward.

We have been able to correct a number of issues present in 7.0.7 and add a
few new features. We've also updated some dependencies to address security
issues mostly related to SSL. Here's the change log for the server:

Fixed loading of Custom Tags on newer 64-bit Windows OS

Fixed JDBC crash when the resultset contained a null value

Storing the resultset of a Select action into a DOM now works

@CIPHER: added SHA3 hash algorithms: SHA3_256, SHA3_384, SHA3_512

Email action: fixed ability to make a new connection when using username and
password

Email action: obfuscated password in debug

Email action: additional encodings

File actions: added FTPS support (implicit port 990 and explicit AUTH)
(requires TeraScribe 7.1)

(requires TeraScribe 7.1)

Updated Dependencies: cURL 7.41, OpenSSL 0.9.8zf

@POSTARGFILENAME: new tag that returns the file name of a POSTed file

@LOCATE: new attribute START, indicates the byte at which to start scanning

@SUBSTRING: NUMCHARS attribute is now optional, when not supplied substring
returns the rest of the string

stack

@NEXTVAL, @++, @--: improved logging

(requires TeraScribe 7.1)

Fixed a bug with @COL and @COLUMN when not in @ROWS but in a method which is
called from within @ROWS

SQL Generator: Corrected several quoting and escaping issues

Updated Installers

We are also releasing TeraScribe 7.0.3. This release fixes a bug in which
TAFs and TCFs might become corrupt due to two actions having the same name.

TeraScribe 7.1.1, as mentioned in the change log, is currently in internal
testing and will be released as soon as possible.

These updates are available on our website www.terascript.com

Thank you,
