Got a bug where the upgraded kernel isn't being booted by default. I'm not
exactly sure why, or what release criteria to use, so I set it to final based
on it being a security concern.

I went off on a tangent last week and downloaded a boot.iso on September 8,
then again on September 11.

The September 8 normal install returned "X startup failed falling back to text
