So what is the purpose of this virtual machine? If it is to be a potentially multi user system, would it better to have a first-run create user process? How do you choose which user to log in with? > > *Home screen did not resize, but activities did. I've seen a check for updates on some olpc XO builds, but I've never investigated what it does. > > ctrl-shift-c and command-c cut-n-paste keyboard shortcuts don't work in > > terminal (mac virtualbox host), and middle click cut-n-paste doesn't work on > > a single button mac. I didn't experiment with multiple tabs, does it just close the tab, or does it kill the whole terminal? Where is the appropriate place to report USR bugs? > > Frame hot-corners worked well in full screen mode, but once I left full > > screen I couldn't return to it. > Log in on gdm bar for Sugar fullscreen > use "sugar-emulator -f "command from gnome for full screen Sorry, this was very much a virtualbox thing. I couldn't make the guest window fill the host's screen. In hindsight, host-f might have made it go full screen. It worked after a restart of the host. > > Shutdown didn't work from the home view, used sudo halt in the terminal or > > power off signal in virtualbox. > You need to logout then hit right bottom of gdm bar for shutdown > options > It is set up for multiple users......( Students) If shutdown isn't possible from the home view, then there shouldn't be an option to shut down there that does nothing. > > Tried out > > http://alt.fedoraproject.org/pub/alt/nightly-composes/soas/soas-i386-20100930.15.isoin > > virtualbox as above. Is this an improvement over 20100930.15 which didn't work at all, or am I doing something wrong with virtualbox? _______________________________________________ Testing mailing list Testing@lists.laptop.org http://lists.laptop.org/listinfo/testing
