2001-03-26 Thread Bob van der Poel

I have tetex installed by way of my Mandrake 7.2 linux. When, as root, I
do:

texexec --make en

I get:

 TeXExec 1.9 - ConTeXt / PRAGMA ADE 1997-2000

fmtutil: no info for format `cont-en'.

executable : pdfetex
 format(s) : en

I check and see that I have the files:

/usr/share/texmf/tex/context/base/cont-en.tex
/usr/share/texmf/tex/context/config/cont-en.ini

So, what am I doing wrong? Somewhere I have to inform texexec the
location of these files?

You must probably remove the comment character from the line
beginning "# cont-en" in the file texmf/web2c/fmtutil.cnf.

# cont-en pdfetex cont-usr.tex*cont-en.ini
