I came across this bug because one of my users used the pixpt metafont
mode (don't ask me why) for xdvi. The important feature of this mode is:
mode_param (pixels_per_inch, 72.27)
...
The problem is that mf calculates the resolution (dpi) to 150
because 2*72.27+5=149.54 is rounded to
