Hi Thomas. On sparc-sun-solaris2.8, tetex-src-2.0 failed to build because there was no Makefile in libs/xpdf. After doing a ./configure in that directory, I got similar errors because of missing Makefiles in utils/texinfo and utils/dialog. By doing local ./configures, make world terminated without any further errors. But looking at the bin directory, only these files were installed today:
