The May meeting of the Permian Basin Speleological Society was held on May
11 and opened at 1910 (7:10 pm). This month the gavel (wooden hammer) was
present and was used enthusiastically but, I think, appropriately.
The treasurer reported that we have the same amount in the treasury as the

A bunch of us are headed to the High Guads over memorial day (with
permits). It has been 5 or 6 years since I've done the drive so I would
love a good road log if anyone has one to share.

The Government Canyon karst project is happening next weekend - the 29th and
30th. You can pick your own dig or your own area to ridgewalk - and there
are caves to explore and survey.
We will meet at 9:00 both mornings in the parking lot of the
Volunteer/Research Station.
