Dorothy and I would be interested, but our schedule this summer is very full
until mid-August and we are busy essentially all of October. We would prefer a
weekend, but if not, would need to know at least a month in advance to Dorothy
can apply for time off from the hospital.

The only feedback I can offer is that it would be nice if the Guadalupe
District could work with other districts further north to offer this training
to cavers who can’t get to Carlsbad. Day sessions on weekends would be
preferable. I think there is interestin the north for this but it

This is a bit far for me to attend. I would think evening into night time for
the classes. Since one would not want to get too close to the bats, use a bat
detector and a frequency spectrum analyzer for species identification. Can’t
use that at the entrance, the detector would be overloaded, use

It appears that Manhole Cave is right on the western edge of the
fire line.Part of the road to Manhole is along a portion of the
northwest side of the fire.
