In all seriousness, there are advantages to not having to worry about tent poles. But having to depend on and transport a system for inflating the support tubes seems like a potential problem for backpacking or caving. I recall a caver at the NSS Convention at the OTR site about 15 years ago

I actually have one of these tents. It's pretty nice but certainly to bulky and heavy for backpacking. The tent sets up in no time with the use of a cheap air mattress pump. The poles system is very interesting and the whole thing seems to be well made. I am however not to impressed with how
