Subject: [SWR CAVERS] A request for info on translocation of bats
Date: Wed, 28 Dec 2016 12:24:40 -0700
From: Steve Peerman <gypca...@comcast.net>
To: SWR Cavers Group <swrcav...@googlegroups.com>

Hello everyone,

I am compiling data on accidental bat translocations, both domestic and international, for a presentation in April. After completing a fairly extensive review of the published literature, a query posed to a separate listserv turned up several more anecdotal reports of great interest, so am I broadening our search. We are primarily looking for incidents that may have been reported in a local newspaper, newsletter, agency report, or in an email or phone call. If you are aware of an incident in your state, would you please complete the table below and send it back to me?  The first line is an example.  This if for all types of translocations – by air, boat, rail, truck, etc. I would appreciate receiving your information by the end of February.

Thanks,
