I just received my NSS News in the mail today. It has an awesome article on
the new discoveries in Jewel Cave and a foldout (!) color map illustrating
same. If you're not an NSS member you are missing out.

I was referring to the incident in the 70's with the Laredo cavers.
I left out the part that I drove to Chechyna "alone" from San Luis Potosi,
Mexico in under 24 hours to meet the group, but that the other caver with
me was likely a Texas caver.

realistic as my experiences in regular life, and in the end was
frightening.
