Cavers, I am pleased to announce that Dave Jackson and his cave simulator,
CaveSim, is available to come to TCR at Paradise Canyon this October.
Available. He needs fuel money to get here. Two individuals and two grottos
have already committed to donating to the cause - to the tune of $700!
Ah, another chance to bloody my arms! Well done. Will forward to GHG.

I have no objection to CaveSim at TCR, at least as long as $$ don't add to the
registration. But I am moved to point out that $1500 is a lot more than fuel
money, so Dave is not exactly donating the use of it. -- Mixon

Bill,
In a free market economy, the proper response would be for you to make your own
CaveSim but charge a competitive price, thereby undercutting their business,
rather than complaining about their prices.
Time is money

Good news! Texas grottos, TCR itself, and individual cavers have risen to the
occasion and we raised the money for CaveSim to be at TCR. Everyone should give
it a try, young and old, firm and infirm, thin and no so thin. It's
interesting, fun, and educational.
