I would like to nominate someone for "The 2017 Lifetime Hodag Award," or something equivalent. Here is a list of just some of the person's accomplishments: 1 ) Did some caving in Missouri in the 70's. 2 ) Active socially in the Houston caving community from at least 1989 to 1995. 3 ) Was the GHG caver who recommended around 1991 that the GHG pack up move from the Y.W.C.A. to The Red Cross Building. [ That turned out to be a great location, and the only reason GHG moved again, was to save money on a cheaper less desirable place. ] 4 ) was involved in a horrific car accident around 1992, that injured their ability to walk. Yet they persevered and eventually got back into caving. 5 ) has a lovely spouse 6 ) loves the outdoors, especially canoeing. 7 ) active in various cave digs around 2010. 8. ) still helping cavers and active socially. 9 ) recently assisted cavers with a back-breaking task
