Not all Texas State Parks prohibit it, some do. Always research and
ask before flying a drone in public property.

I would not recommend flying the drone into Punkin Cave. Its swallow nesting
season.

Out of curiosity, does your drone stabilize itself with GPS?
I've been wondering how the control characteristics might change on
such a drone when in a cave environment where GPS is unavailable.

I've never been to Punkin, is there enough room? I'll gladly bring it
down and we can give it a try. Might be some good footage for the
TCMA members and/or website.

George, my model is GPS stabilized. There are other models that have
a 2nd camera on that will stabilize for indoor environments. Some are
limited to just looking at the floor, etc. Ideally, you would have
proximity sensors on it, but I haven't researched to find a model to
do that, probably
Charles,
Bring it to TCR this year. There is a cavy looking lead high up in the cliff
that the owner has seen coyotes coming and going. He wants us to check it out.
We could do the drone first, then try to reach it from above.

Sounds good, I had planned to bring it to get aerial footage, much
like I did at TSA.
