According to official figures for the year 2020, thebiggest gainer – in terms
of new converts – was Hinduism. People who embracedHinduism constituted 47 per
cent of religious conversions in Kerala during theone-year period under
reference.

Of the total 506 people who registered theirchange of religion with the
government, 241 were those who converted fromChristianity or Islam to Hinduism.
A total of 144 persons adopted Islam whereasChristianity received 119 new
believers in the year, shows the data.

Q3           What isthe most interesting thing you know about wolves?

KR              Facts about wolves:

1.  Wolves are highly social animals and typicallylive in packs consisting of a
mated pair, their offspring, and occasionallyother unrelated wolves. Pack
structure can vary based on factors such ashabitat and prey availability.

2.   Wolvesare territorial animals and will defend their territories against
intruders. The size of a wolf pack's territory can vary widely, ranging from 50
to 1,000square miles, depending on factors such as food availability and pack
density.

3.   Wolvescommunicate using a variety of vocalizations, body language, and
scent marking. They howl to communicate over long distances, to assemble the
pack, and to warnother wolves to stay away from their territory.

4.   Wolvesare considered keystone predators, meaning they play a crucial role
inmaintaining the health and balance of their ecosystems. By regulating
preypopulations, wolves indirectly impact plant communities and other
wildlifespecies.

5.   Wolvesare highly adaptable animals and can thrive in a wide range of
habitats, including forests, grasslands, tundra, and deserts. They have been
found inNorth America, Europe, Asia, and parts of Africa.

6.   Wolvesare carnivorous and primarily hunt large ungulates such as deer,
elk, andmoose. They use cooperative hunting techniques, with pack members
workingtogether to pursue, surround, and bring down prey much larger than
themselves.

7.   Wolveshave faced significant threats from habitat loss, hunting, and
persecution byhumans. Many wolf populations were extirpated or drastically
reduced in thepast, but conservation efforts and legal protections have helped
somepopulations recover. However, wolves still face challenges such as
conflictswith humans over livestock depredation and habitat fragmentation.

8.   Thereare several subspecies of wolves, each adapted to its specific
habitat andgeographic range. Some well-known subspecies include the gray wolf
(Canislupus), red wolf (Canis rufus), and Arctic wolf (Canis lupus arctos).

9.  Wolves typically live 6 to 8 years in the wild, though they can live longer
in captivity. Breeding usually occurs once a year, with pups born in the spring
after a gestation period of around 63 days. Alitter can range from 1 to 11
pups, with an average of 4 to 6 pups.

(why fake data like need not have water etc KR  )  Wolves, like many mammals,
cannot survive indefinitely without water. Theyneed water to maintain bodily
functions, regulate body temperature, andfacilitate digestion. While wolves are
highly adaptable animals capable ofsurviving in a variety of environments,
including arid regions, they stillrequire access to water sources for hydration.

However, wolves are known for their efficiency inwater conservation. (KR And
human too that is why human wolves are there) They canobtain some moisture from
the prey they consume, particularly from the bloodand body fluids of animals
they hunt. This ability allows them to survive inenvironments where water
sources may be scarce for extended periods.Additionally, wolves have been
observed traveling long distances to find waterwhen necessary, demonstrating
their resourcefulness in obtaining this essentialresource. (same wild

Q3           What is the most interesting thingyou know about wolves?

A3            Sean Kernan, Writer atseanjkernan.substack.com20h

Wolves don’tneed to drink water.

The reasonbeing—they often live in tundra where there’s little free-running
water. Sothey adapt to their surroundings, as all others do.

Most oftheir water requirements are met from the meat they eat, and through
thechemical process of digesting it (most animals are 60–80% water). But still,
itseems crazy that a wolf can not drink water, right? Their bodies have
simplylearned to conserve water and recycle it.

Wolves dosometimes drink water and it can certainly help if they’ve been
exertingthemselves. They will even go to battle with other packs to have
control of afree running stream. But they are fully equipped to go without when
they needto.

They are verydifferent from your pet dog who drains the toilet bowl.

Q4           What are some famous English jokes?

A4           Des Cann, IT Consultant, go player, lover of life. Updated 7y

This is ajoke we English tell against ourselves.

The Englishare fighting the Scots again. The English army is camped on a hill
waiting fora deep fog to clear. Out of the fog comes a Scottish shout:

“One Scotsman is worth two Englishmen”

Many menvolunteer and two of the biggest are selected. They advance down into
the fog.Soon the sound of fighting can be heard but it doesn’t last long. Then
there isanother shout:

“One Scotsman is worth four Englishmen”.

Four morevolunteers are quickly selected and they advance down into the fog
together. The sound of more fighting can be heard. It lasts a bit longer but
soon it goesquiet again and then the same Scottish voice calls once more.

“One Scotsman is worth a platoon ofEnglishmen”.

There is alonger debate this time but soon a platoon advances steadily down
into the fog. This time the sound of fighting goes on for quite a long time and
a fewscreams. Eventually all is quiet and then the same Scottish voice calls
again.

“One Scotsman is worth a battalion ofEnglishmen”

The Englishare now quite worried but in due course a battalion is prepared and
startsadvancing into the fog. But a groan is heard on the ground at the feet.
AnEnglish soldier barely alive has managed to crawl back up the hill and he
criesout:

“Don’t goin, it’s a trap. There’s two of the bastards.

Q5           Will the Sun burn forever?

A5           Laurenz, Studied Mathematics &Astrophysics1h

Firstly, thesun is not burning things like a fire. If it did, even its giant
mass wouldonly take thousands of years to burn. Instead, the energy it radiates
awaycomes from nuclear fusion in its core.

Currently, the sun is fusing Hydrogen to Helium. In around 5–7 billion years,
the sun willrun out of hydrogen in the core. This will cause a pressure drop in
the centre, therefore the inner parts will contract. This contraction releases
energy sothe sun will still radiate. But the released energy will also make the
outerparts expand and swallow Mercury and Venus, maybe also Earth. After the
corehas contracted enough, Helium fusion will set in. Now Helium is fused to
Carbonand Oxygen in the core and the sun has become a much brighter star. Earth
willbe very hot if it still exists.

After theHelium burning, which only takes around one billion years, the core
willcontract again while the outer layers will be ejected as a planetary
nebula(look at the ring nebula, for example). This time, core contraction will
onlystop when it is a ball of compressed atoms - not much bigger than Earth.
(Thesun would have to be around ten times as massive to also fuse Carbon to
heavierelements.) This remnant is called a white dwarf which will cool out over
time.

So no, thesun will not burn forever. But it still will for billions of years.
