If you want THERION to be set, you need to set it yourself. That's how
environment variables work on UNIX - there isn't really a sensible
mechanism for a program to add one when it is installed.

After re-reading my last postings, I found my own language somewhat

So I must beg your pardon. I can only say that it's the nicotine (or

Hi guys - after some bother with Therion getting thrown out of the
soon-to-be released version of Debian due to build machine problems, v0.3.6
is now back in, so it will be released as part of the standard distribution
when we finally get round to releasing it :-)

Which TeX distribution do you have installed?
It looks, that therion is not able to run metapost. Are you able to run "mpost"
from command line?

Hello,
I finally take time to install a good Tcl/Tk version, and now, Xtherion can run
on my Mac...
But... When I try to compile the demo file (demo-padavka in that case),
Xtherion answer :

There should be some balloon item in xtherion.ini. When set to 0, pup-up
strings should not be visible any more.

xtherion ini is on ~/src/therion/xtherion/xtherion.ini. No search for
xtherion.ini seems to be done in xtherion directory.
So, after editing xtherion.ini, I need to move it manually under
/etc.
Hi,
I have some concerns about pop-up strings. While they are nice to start
up with Xtherion, once the user is used to GUI they could be annoying.
So main concern is wether it's possible to get pop-up strings inactive,
may be by clicking some checkbutton or so.
