Perhaps -link or -url could be a property of almost any point entity?
There would need to be some way of visually distinguishing them other than
the change in cursor while hovering, a light background shading perhaps?
Also
map-image x y nw "filename" -link "linkaddress"
would be useful.

Needs to be able to point to absolute and relative paths as well as urls.
