Hallo everybody,
I noticed a strange problem drawing a quick survey of a little adit today.
This being a little adit I immediately noticed that the scale bar is off
by a factor 2, as 20 real meters (in the adit) gave 10 meters in the scale
bar.
Then I fell back to Therion defaults (no values
Hallo everybody,
due to learning some metapost for making a Schacht (shaft?) symbol, I got
a thconfig file getting really fat and difficult to maintain. Is there a
possibility to source metapost snippets from another file?
Neither 'source' nor 'input' (Handbook p. 15) seem to work, which does
Hallo everyone,
two questions:
- I would like sometimes to draw an Erzgang (ore load? lode? mineral
vein?) into a mine survey. The line type Label (Beschriftung) would fit
into that bill nicely. Is it possible to draw the line along to the label?
And it is possible to draw the line and keep
Hallo everyone,
I remember faintly that some years ago, when I used Therion for a bit (but
did not progress further as centreline output) there was a discussion
about mining symbols for Therion. I lost these Mails; archive says 2007. I
think this would broaden the applicability of Therion to
Hallo everyone,
just two questions, if you please, as it is sometimes not easy to find a
negative ('cannot do') when searching through wiki pages and such.
I have not mastered working with maps, so far; and I am unsure whether I
need them at all. So I would like to know whether it is possible
Hallo everyone,
I have another little problem: I am entering LRUD data of my last mine
survey, and I am missing LRUD values of the start of a centerline (way too
besmirched paper;).
Now, missing values in between would not be such big of a problem, but how
do I compensate for missing start
Good evening,
I am trying to compile Therion on an openSuse 13.2 64bit, and had no
success so far. After some research (including the mailing list, of
course) I noticed it seems to be hanging on Loch compiling, as you maybe
would have guessed:).
I used the patch of detrito (29.12.2015 10:56,
Hallo everyone,
hearing discussiong about symbols I thought again about mine specific symbols.
While I have to admit I have perhaps not searched thoroughly, I have not
found any included in therion.
Well, I would be willing to design some. But it surely would be better to
determine which

Of course I can! But, as I am not sure how the

Good evening,
just a little question; I am again at it, compiling therion.
Well, when make'ing I got following error:
| c++ -c -Wall -DTHLINUX -O2 -o thbezier.o thbezier.cxx
| thbezier.cxx: In function âvoid chord_length_parameterize(const NR_Point*,
| double*, unsigned int)â:

Good evening,
I have read about the need to upgrade to therion 0.5.1. So I am busy at work
compiling. Unfortunately it fails with the line
| lxRender.cxx:(.text+0x59a): undefined reference to `vtk_png_write_end'
So I searched, and found the archived thread "Patch for wx2.8 and 64-bit

Good day,
first let me introduce myself, perhaps: I am (of course) new to the Therion
list. Well, I am from southern germany, the black forest, to be exact; and I
am primarily interested in abandoned mines, not in caves. So I went on the
search for a capable map-making software, found Therion
