Comment:

 Doesn't that stop you from using the escapeTitle HTML attribute?  Either
 way you slice it you are not going to be able to use HTML attributes that
 are used by the framework.

 This would break backwards compatibility with all existing apps.  And for
 something so small it is simply not worth it.
