#6277: UUIDs are not automatically inserted for primary keys in Oracle
------------------------+---------------------------------------------------
   Reporter:  stesch    |          Owner:  phishy
       Type:  Bug       |         Status:  new
   Priority:  High      |      Milestone:  1.2.x.x
  Component: Oracle | Version: 1.2 Final
   Severity: Critical | Keywords: oracle, uuid, model
Php_version:  PHP 5     |   Cake_version:  1.2.2.8120
------------------------+---------------------------------------------------
 UUIDs are not automatically inserted into primary keys when connected to
 an Oracle database. The problem seems to be associated with using the ===
 instead of the == comparator in the ~/core/libs/model/model.php file
 matching the length 36. I have not tested this version of CakePHP with
 other databases.

 lines 1213-1215 of ~/core/libs/model/model.php:

 {{{
 $isUUID = ($fInfo['length'] === 36 &&
         ($fInfo['type'] === 'string' || $fInfo['type'] === 'binary')
 );
 }}}

 should be changed to:

 {{{
 $isUUID = ($fInfo['length'] == 36 &&
         ($fInfo['type'] === 'string' || $fInfo['type'] === 'binary')
 );
 }}}
