As reading the documentation for it it doesn't support it. I think it was mistaken with the parameters option? No groups, no IRC, noone. When i put anything in with option like: echo $ajax-autoComplete('City.name', array('controller'='search', 'action'='searchAutocompleteCity') , array('minChars'='0','indicator'='wait_city', 'with'='some_id=12')); i expect anything to happen, at least something in generated html, but all i get is: new Ajax.Autocompleter('CityName', 'CityName_autoComplete', '/search/searchAutocompleteCity', {minChars:0, indicator:'wait_city'}); In firebug there is one POST variable (from input field of autocomplete) and nothing else. Also $this-params contains nothing. It seems that this option is simply ignored and that is reason that i am reopenning this ticket. Please do not close it without explanation. Thank you. -- Ticket URL: https://trac.cakephp.org/ticket/2064#comment:5 CakePHP : The Rapid Development Framework for PHP https://trac.cakephp.org/ Cake is a rapid development framework for PHP which uses commonly known design patterns like ActiveRecord, Association Data Mapping, Front Controller and MVC.
